I had a customer today ask me “why do I tell them to sell our equipment out of state?”. Selling you used equipment locally creates a new competitor that you will soon meet the next time you place a bid on a parking lot. The extra cost and time to run an ad in a national publication like Rock & Dirt, Machinery Trader or the Paver Market Magazine will be worth it. Once you load the unit onto a flatbed and wave goodbye you can be assured that you never will see it again.
