I am debating on wether or not to insure my graco 3900, I live in a safe neghborhood, never leave machine out of site at jobs. The only thing I can imagine happening to it is during a freak thunderstorm a large tree is blown down right on top of it(this is a dream I have after inhaling too many paint fumes). Does anyone else insure the line striper machine?

    Hello Rhodestripes
    Everything I have is insured.
I’ll bet the added replacement cost to your policy won’t be much.
If it helps you sleep…I’d get insured.
    I hope I helped.

I have insured everything. The $1,000,000 liabilty is the large part, but I put $10,000 insurance on my enclosed trailer and all the tools inside, and the insurance for the pickup is included. I think the enclosed trailer and tools comes to about $60/year. That is too cheap to not cover it. You might check to make sure that you are covered, in case of a vehicle accident, tornado, flood, etc. I would guess that replacement value on a machine would be pennies per month.
