I was working in the garden today with the tilller and had a thought. What if I put a broom on the tiller instead of the tines? Seems like this would work on those spots that need a little scrubbing. Wouldn’t want to try it on a big area but it might work on those built up spots. Is there a small broom that would fit a 1 inch shaft. Just a thought.

There are various models already on the market with a simular design:

York Makes a Walk behind Model YBWB3 - 3’ Walk Behind Broom

Shindaiwa makes the PowerBroomâ„¢. Six interchangeable brushes and up to 1.5 horsepower

I know there are walk behind brooms, I have a York. It was just a thought. Conpare the cost of a york to the cost of a tiller. Brooms and tiller new $800

For those of you who may be interested:  The Shindiawa line is in the process of a merger with another company.  At the present time, there are no parts available.  Be advised, they may be phaseing out!!
