Hello,
Wondering if anyone out there has experience with Porous Asphalt Pavement (for stormwater).
If so, how much thickness do you lose when rolling, for standard mixes we usually assume 1/4″ per 1″ placed, but this stuff is all rock. I don’t think it will roll down too much.
Any thoughts??

I just did a 60′ x 60′ section of porous pavement for a municipality job 2 months ago. You get about that for compaction, depending on the weight of your roller. It does come out of the plant colder than regular mixes, so you don’t have as much time to work with it. If I knew how to attach a photo I would. I have one that shows it when when were rolling it.
