This appointment provides for readily available inventories to supply the growing need for highly durable Detectable Warning Tactile Systems throughout Texas with emphasis in the TxDOT, civil, private construction sectors, parking lot maintenance and construction markets and all the aforementioned marketplace contractors.
Armor-Tile has been the nation’s leader of truncated dome Detectable Warning curb ramp tiles and panels for many years. Their Access Tile product line is a welcome addition when calling for a more rapid installation and, with cost-reducing manufacturing techniques, has also produced a lower priced product. Official TxDOT approval of Access Tile is due the first week in September. Numerous municipalities have already approved and installed Access Tile with very favorable results. Civil, parking lot and paving contractors are also pleased with the ease of installation of Access Tile.
