CHARLOTTE— Bonsal American has acquired GemSeal, Inc., a manufacturer of asphalt pavement maintenance products for use by commercial contractors on asphalt surfaces surrounding retail, residential, and industrial properties.  GemSeal is based in Tampa, Fla. and services the southeastern U.S. from North Carolina to Texas.

“GemSeal is an excellent fit with Bonsal American’s existing pavement maintenance operations in the Northeast and Midwest,” said David Maske, president of Bonsal American. “This acquisition is an important part of our strategy of national growth for our sealer business.”

The combined resources of GemSeal and Bonsal American create a full line of pavement maintenance products which complement core asphalt maintenance products, including specialty concrete repair products from Bonsal American and sports surfacing products for tennis courts from GemSeal.
